Champorado

    Ingredients

    • ¾ cup glutenous black rice
    • 4 ½ cup water
    • ¼ cup dark chocolate
    • 2 tbs cocoa powder
    • 1 cup So Good Original Almond milk
    • 1 tbs coconut sugar

    Toppings:

    • cacao nibs
    • sliced banana

    Method

    1. Step 1

      Soak the glutenous black rice in water overnight.
    2. Step 2

      Drain the rice and place into a cooking pot.
    3. Step 3

      Add in the water.
    4. Step 4

      Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium low.
    5. Step 5

      Cook for about 25 minutes.
    6. Step 6

      Add in the dark chocolate, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, and So Good Regular Almond milk and mix well.
    7. Step 7

      Cook until thick.
    8. Step 8

      Top with cacao nibs and chopped banana.

    Tips

    • Soaking the rice will cut off 10 minutes from your cooking  time and make them easier for our bodies to digest.
