Berry tart

    Quick to make, this delicious tart is a great way to end your next dinner with family or friends.

    Ingredients

    • 1 sheet reduced-fat canola puff pastry
    • ¼ cup almond meal
    • 1 punnet strawberries, halved (or 200g blueberries)
    • 1 tbs raw sugar

    Method

    1. Step 1

      Cut pastry in half. Score a 1cm border around the edge of the pastry.
    2. Step 2

      Sprinkle almond meal in the centre of the pastry. Top with strawberries and sprinkle with sugar.
    3. Step 3

      Bake in a moderate oven, 180°C, for 10-12 minutes or until edges are puffed and golden. Serve with yoghurt topped with lemon rind.

    Tips

    • You can use fresh raspberries, blackberries or a mixture of berries to make these delicious tarts, or use frozen berries.
    • To make this tart gluten free, simply use gluten free puff pastry.
    Remember to always check the label of each ingredient to ensure it is gluten free.
