Gluten Free Choc Clusters

    These easy to make gluten-free clusters by Marika Day are super crunchy and nutritious.

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup buckwheat groats
    • 1 cup puffed quinoa
    • 1 cup mixed nuts and seeds
    • ¼ cup cocoa powder
    • 2 egg whites
    • 2 tbsp avocado oil (melted)
    • ¼ cup rice malt syrup 

    Method

    1. Step 1

      Preheat the oven to 190°C and line a baking tray with baking paper. 
    2. Step 2

      In a large mixing bowl add all ingredients and stir well to ensure all dry ingredients are coated with the wet ingredients. 
    3. Step 3

      Place the granola mixture onto the lined baking tray and spread evenly. 
    4. Step 4

      Bake for 20 minutes. 
    5. Step 5

      Allow to cool. Once the granola has cooled break into bite-sized clusters. 
    6. Step 6

      Serve with yoghurt and fruit, or sprinkle on top of smoothies and smoothie bowls.
