Five Seed Ricies™ Bars

A great snack crafted with love and packed with seeds and crunchy Ricies. 

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract or bean paste
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • ¼ cup rice malt syrup
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups Sanitarium™ Ricies™
  • ⅓ cup chia seeds
  • ⅔ cup pumpkin seeds
  • ⅔ cup sunflower seeds
  • ¼ cup sesame seeds
  • 1 cup dried cranberries or apricots
  • ⅓ cup shredded coconut
  • 3 Tbsp LSA

Method

  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 160°C.
  2. Step 2

    Grease and line a 27 x 21cm baking tin.
  3. Step 3

    Place the vanilla, maple syrup, rice malt syrup and cinnamon in a small bowl and stir to combine.
  4. Step 4

    In a large bowl add the remaining ingredients and pour over the wet ingredients and mix until evenly combined. Transfer into the prepared tin and firmly press down. Part slice into 5.4 x 7 cm rectangles to make cutting easier once cooked.
  5. Step 5

    Bake for 30 minutes until golden. Allow to cool before refrigerating for 30 minutes to firm up. Slice all the way through to make 15 bars. Store in the fridge.
