Banana porridge

A quick and simple alternative to add the delicious taste of fresh bananas to your wholesome breakfast porridge.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups hot water
  • ½ cup So Good Lite soy milk
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tbs honey
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed

Method

  1. Step 1

    Place the rolled oats, hot water, So Good Lite soy milk and salt in a saucepan over medium heat and stir until the mixture boils and thickens or microwave on high for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Step 2

    Stir in the honey and mashed banana.
  3. Step 3

    Serve with extra banana and So Good Lite soy milk to taste.
