- 1 800g canned apples or stewed apples
- ¼ cup sultanas
Crumble
- ⅓ cup wholemeal plain flour
- ⅓ cup white plain flour
- ⅓ cup almond meal
- ¼ cup sugar
- 80g margarine
- ¼ cup flaked almonds
Method
Step 1
Combine apples and sultanas in an ovenproof dish.Step 2
Sift flours into a bowl. Add sugar and almond meal.Step 3
Rub margarine into flour mixture. Sprinkle crumble and flaked almonds over apple.Step 4
Bake in a moderate oven, 180°C, for 40 minutes or until golden.
