Ingredients
- 2 brown onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 pack Vegie Delights™ Hot Dogs
- 6 hot dog rolls
- 1/2 cup reduced fat cheese of choice, grated
- 1 shallot, sliced
- Your favourite hot dog sauces – we used tomato and American style mustard
Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 150°C. Heat oil in a non-stick frypan over medium heat. Add onion and cook, stirring regularly until caramelised (approx. 10 minutes). Set aside.Step 2
Add Hot Dogs to frypan and cook for 4-5 minutes.Step 3
Warm hot dog buns in oven for a few minutes. Slice tops lengthwise.
